A little puzzle

(1/1)

Sam:
Additionally, I have a little brain teaser for the curious folks.

It concerns the Halloween card. Let's assume that the author actually hid something for us there. Let's assume that if someone like Zodiac writes "Sorry no cipher" inside the envelope, the cipher must be there. Let's find it:

Let's reject what is repeating, and what overlaps on each other. That leave us the words:

FIRE, GUN, KNIFE and ROPE.

Let's organize them in one string and presume that it may be a hidden anagram.

So let's decipher it. Presuming, that:

E ––––– L
F ––––– H
G ––––– G
I ––––– E
K ––––– T
N ––––– A
O ––––– I
P ––––– N
R ––––– R
U ––––– U

The rest I leave for the inquisitive - we do not want to spoil the whole game after all.

Footnote:

I would like to state categorically, that in no way I consider this finding as a definitive or ultimately conclusive. It might be as well purely accidental coincidence, typical especially for Arthur Leigh Allen.
